Projects

Memory Maps began as a collaboration between the V&A and the Department of Literature, Film and Theatre Studies at the University of Essex. We are currently seeking funding to roll the project out across other regions in the UK. July 2008 saw an interdisciplinary conference at Cambridge entitled Memory Maps: Image, Place and Story.

I am involved in another interdisciplinary project supported by the Institute of Advanced Study at Durham. In 2008–9 we had funding to run a series of workshops and events on the theme of 'Thinking with Feeling', as part of the Being Human theme of the IAS.

I held a fellowship at the IAS from October to December 2008.
